The line items on the HCAD accounts, those just show that you are within the district. HCAD doesn’t send out bills for the assessment, that is handled by the firm Equitax. If you receive a bill from them for the assessment we can get it removed. But if you are listed as residential by HCAD and have a homestead exemption you shouldn't receive a bill.
